UDEMUN 2024

Dear Delegates, Advisors, and Observers,

On behalf of Prepa UDEM, it is an honor to extend the warmest welcome to the Twenty-Fifth Edition of the University of Monterrey Model United Nations (UDEMUN) "Inspiring Leaders." My name is Manuel García Cepeda, and I have the privilege to serve as the Secretary-General of UDEMUN XXV.

This commemorative edition celebrates our legacy as we look towards the future, acknowledging the crucial role that young leaders play in creating a more just and sustainable world. Within the various committees of this simulation, delegates will not only develop their diplomatic and leadership skills but also gain an understanding of the enduring impact they can have on their communities and the world. This has been made possible through the diligent efforts of the secretariat in incorporating topics relevant to the current issues facing the international community.

UDEMUN XXV will be held on December 6 and 7 of this year. In this edition, each delegate will be awarded a commemorative digital badge by the University of Monterrey, acknowledging their participation in this historic event. This digital badge is designed to be easily shared on online platforms, social media, resumes, and professional profiles, aligning with the emerging trend of workplace verification. This recognition not only symbolizes participation but also signifies your affiliation with the legacy of leadership that has inspired generations of students over the years. 

The future is constructed upon the foundations laid by the past. In this edition of UDEMUN, we aim to offer students the opportunity to join the distinguished legacy of leaders who have participated in our simulations over the past 25 years. By doing so, participants will develop essential skills to address global challenges and contribute to a better world for all. The secretariat is working diligently to provide delegates, the leaders of tomorrow, with an enriching and transformative experience.
