Workshop of: Introduction to Academic Integrity
Workshop: Conducting and publishing research on academic integrity and academic misconduct.
This workshop aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to plan, conduct, and publish scholarly research into issues of academic integrity and academic misconduct (e.g., plagiarism and cheating).
This workshop focuses on the practicalities of researching academic integrity issues by providing relevant knowledge (e.g., ethical issues, research design, opportunities for publication). Participants will also be able to practically plan and design their first (or next) academic integrity research project.

Dr. Guy Curtis
Professor Curtis has made highly impactful editorial contributions to higher education and academic integrity scholarship.
He co-edited the first scholarly book on contract cheating in higher education the contract cheating section of the Second Handbook of Academic Integrity.
In his recent book Academic Integrity in the Social Sciences he continues exploring the role of ethics and integrity in academic context.
Professor Curtis is a current Co-Editor of the journal Higher Education Research & Development.
