Artistic Talent Scholarship

At the Universidad de Monterrey we are committed to the integral development of our students and we work with a training model that develops leadership skills and promotes the values of the UDEM. From the artistic field, this objective is fulfilled through co-curricular courses and the rehearsals and performances of the artistic representative groups.

The Artistic Financial Aid is a support that the institution offers to students with artistic talent in the disciplines practiced at the University.

¿In what activities are Financial Aid for Artistic Activities granted?

According to UDEM's strategic plan, financial aid for artistic activities for Carreras UDEM is concentrated in the following areas: music, dance, theater and singing.

¿What are the requirements to apply for an Artistic Financial Aid?

● Be a new student entering a UDEM degree program.
● Have a high level of performance and artistic achievement in music, dance, theater or singing.

Registration start date: January 23, 2023
Registration deadline: March 3, 2023
Notification of resolutions: April 11 to 18, 2023

Step by step to apply for Artistic Financial Assistance

1. Be accepted at UDEM as a student:

i) Comply with the admission requirements according to the career.
ii) Submit admission papers with the corresponding documents.
iii) Have a minimum high school GPA of 80 overall at the time of application.

2. Send an email to [email protected] mentioning your name and the artistic discipline or disciplines you practice.

3. You will receive a link to register information related to your training and artistic participation.

4. Your information will be evaluated and you will receive an answer as to whether or not you meet the profile and needs to be part of the representative groups.

5. If you meet the profile, an in-person audition will be scheduled with the teachers to complete your artistic evaluation.

6. You will receive feedback on your artistic assessment.

7. If you are a candidate for an artistic scholarship, you must complete the Financial Aid Application online from the UDEM portal. If the application is incomplete or you do not complete it, the Committee will not be able to review your file.

8. The Artistic Scholarship Committee will evaluate your file and we will notify you of the resolution on the established dates.
