Nery Gracia Ledezma
Vice President for Communications and Marketing / Chief of Staff to the Board of Trustee
Nery Gracia has a Master's degree in International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University, and she is studying a Global Master's degree in Business Administration and Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is a graduate of the University of Monterrey (UDEM) with a degree in International Studies.
She has experience in international immigration and lobbying issues, as well as in public policy research at the think tank Center for Worklife Policy, The Earth Institute at Columbia University, among other organizations. She also collaborated as a corporate social responsibility consultant at PepsiCo Latin America and in the operations of Azarmehr Law Group. Her specializations include communications, writing and editing, event production, digital marketing, innovation and design thinking.
In 2012 he joined UDEM as head of the Council and Rector's Office; and since 2016 she has been in charge of communications, leading the work team dedicated to strengthening the image and reputation of the University through the development and implementation of innovative marketing and events strategies.

The development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy contributing to a compound growth of 4.5% in student attraction in the last 5 years.
The successful merger of Event Productions and online broadcasting, achieving excellent integration and exceeding synergy objectives in just one year. This initiative led to the creation of the UDEM Productions agency, which generated cost savings of $6 million pesos in its first year.
Developed and implemented content marketing strategy that resulted in a 100% increase in website traffic.
The significant increase in the visibility and reputation of the University, improving brand awareness, thanks to extensive media coverage in the main local and national publications, generating positive mentions in more than 100 media.
The development and implementation of the crisis communication plan, ensuring effective communication during emergency situations, mainly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Leadership of a multifunctional team that resulted in a digital tool (“Proyecta”) that serves internal customers in 24 hours, increasing satisfaction to 90%.
Planning, managing and executing large-scale publishing projects, such as books, publications, websites, as well as providing direction to editors, writers, and other content creators.
She is part of the boards of Invest MTY, Como Vamos Nuevo León and has participated as a volunteer at Safe Place, MexicArte in Austin, Texas; ProMujer in New York; Polytechnic High School and the University of Barrios in Santa Catarina. She is a professor at the School of Law and Social Sciences at UDEM.
She currently practices swimming, tennis, yoga and her favorite hobby is reading.
