Law student excels in political debate

Law student Marco Antonio Flores Monroy participated in the First National Debate Competition on Political Rights, called by the Interamerican Academy of Human Rights at the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, Saltillo.
He triumphed in the individual category and won the medal for Best Speaker with two topics: “Does the gender equality principle as established by the electoral law represent a minimum floor or a maximum ceiling in the nomination of women’s candidacies?” and “Is it constitutionally legal to penalize the dissemination of fake news with intended malice during an electoral process?”
