Upon completion of this course, students will recognize traditional, alternative, and complementary medicine as an important element of our culture, describing other expressions of medical care such as homeopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, reflexology, aromatherapy, iridology, etc. which the population demand and which can be provided along with allopathic health services to form integrative medical care. In addition, students must distinguish between scientific and non-scientific resources of each therapy in order to exploit their diagnostic and therapeutic resources to provide the best treatment to the patient, through literature and field research, group exhibitions and practices conducted in the virtual medical education laboratory.
