We believe that people are naturally creative and that this skill can be developed through a learning and practicing process.

With these premises in mind, the general aim of the course is to promote the students' creative thinking through the knowledge and practice of techniques that enable them to develop flexible and original thinking. 

The course's specific objectives include the following:

• To identify the conditions that promote creativity.
• To apply methods and techniques such as design-based thinking,  using personal thinking preferences, eliminating mental blocks through parallel thinking and TRIZ problem solving.
• To explore team work as a tool for the innovation process.
• To understand the importance of intellectual property protection and the mechanisms to achieve it.
