Students are introduced to the modern theory of corporate finance at an intermediate level, providing them with the necessary instruments for financial decision making. The overall objective is to analyze how scarce resources are allocated through a price system based on the assesment of financial risky instruments and provide students with the necessary knowledge regarding the field of finance as regards the investment decisions and strategies that a company must implement in order to achieve efficiency in the management of financial resources and the valuation of financial assets. Students will also learn and understand concepts related to mergers and acquisitions.
