Upon completion of this course, students will be able to gain an understanding of topics that have been relevant to the history of art and that have been significant for having set trends or being representative of their time. The students will become acquainted with the most outstanding aspects of these topics, which will provide a way to assess their importance and contributions to art.

Upon completion of this course, students will be acquainted with descriptive research methodology through the use of qualitative tools applied to the analysis and design of buildings as well as urban spaces for the purpose of understanding the importance of preparing the architectural schedule, simulation models, analyses of existing similar studies, as well as the architectural design concept document.

DA 3085 Norms and Procedures for Certification in Green Building Design

Upon completion of this course, students will be acquainted with ratings and certifications of the sustainable characteristics of buildings, as well as with the importance and requirements to obtain such ratings and certifications, in order to familiarize the future architect with the new roles and functions to be assumed in work teams for sustainable projects.

DA 3075 Technology, Systems and Materials of Sustainable Architecture

Upon completion of this course, students will be acquainted with some of the most relevant types of sustainable constructions available in our context, in order to develop critical judgment to select appropriate techniques, systems, and materials for the specific conditions of a project, from its conception to its use, contributing to reduce the environmental impact that the buildings have on their surroundings.
