OD 4050 Prosthodondtics IV

This course aims to provide students with resolutive diagnostic training which they will acquire through rotations carried out in the different hospital ward, interacting with doctors and residents during rounding visits, taking report during shift change, and presentations of clinical cases.

OD 4040 Prosthodontics III

The aim of this course is for students to: (1) Apply the knowledge gained to perform rehabilitation with fixed and removable prosthesis . (2) Differentiate the different branches of the prosthodontics and its relationship with the different branches of dentistry. (3) Classify the different techniques and preparations for fixed dentures . (4) Analyze the components of fixed prosthesis fixed and partially removable dentures. (5) Make diagnoses used to design procedures for the different clinical cases.

OD 4035 Basic Orthodontics

The aim of this course is for students to acquire necessary knowledge to diagnose, prevent, and treat all the different malocclusions, both dental and skeletal. They will also develop manual dexterity to devise orthodontic appliances with the features required to perform work in laboratories and clinics.

OD 4015 Oclussion II

This course aim is for students to: (1) Understand the health function of the stomatologic system and its parts, so that its equilibrium and correct function can be maintained. (2) Apply acquired knowledge to prevent and/or correct alterations of the preserve the Stomatognathic System, proposing prevention and/or therapeutic management mechanisms as appropriate. (3) Apply theory directly with patients in a dental clinic.

OD 4010 Prosthodontics I

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply acquired knowledge to perform rehabilitation with fixed and removable partial proshteses. They should distinguish the different branches of prosthetics and their relation with various branches of Dentistry. They will also be able to classify the different techniques and preparations of fixed dental prostheses, analyzing the components of a fixed dental prosthesis and a removable dental prosthesis, using different printing techniques and materials.
