Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply knowledge of modeling and geometric programming to the most common cases of urban and space architectural design in order to understand digital design and manufacture models from the different programming languages and parametric design platforms.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to use different digital representation tools and techniques to subsequently make the presentation of the different stages of a project through 2D drawing and 3D modeling.

Upon completion of this course, students will have become acquainted with the different elements of buildings (structure and equipment) and the materials with which they can be constructed as well as their limitations.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify and understand the principles and elements of descriptive geometry. They wil have developed the ability to analyze and understand existing topologies, in order to formulate formal proposals based on rational thinking.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify and apply hand drawing knowledge and techniques used for the analysis and representation of architectural thinking (outlines and sketches) in order to understand the use of drawing as an essential tool to communicate their design process.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to recognize and comprehend the principles and basic elements of architectural language, form, and space, through an exploration process based on two- and three-dimensional exercises, in order to achieve an approach to architectural language, representation methods and project development.

The aim is for students to apply the criteria, knowledge, and responsibilities adopted and acquired throughout their course of study.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply the fundamental concepts and principles of sustainability in order to make the project meet applicable certification standards and processes. They will also be able to analyze passive and active bioclimatic strategies as well as technologies applied for the purpose of improving energy efficiency and apply them to urban architectonic projects and energy facilities.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to determine the technological feasibility and implications of an energy-generation project for decision-making.
