The aim of this couse is for students to be knowledgeable about nursing care from conception to birth, identifying care in each trimester of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum care as well as direct and indirect care of the newborn.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to recognize the main characteristics of the most common ailments and diseases affecting the elderly in order to implement high-quality, safe interventions through the nursing care process addressed at geriatric patients.

The aim of this course is for students to apply the theoretical knowledge they acquired in the Pathology and Medical Surgical Nursing I program in areas such as Internal Medicine, Endoscopy, Inhalation Therapy, Renal Unit, Outpatient, Oncology, and Chemotherapy. They will also provide psychological and spiritual support to patients and their families, using the Nursing Care Process.
