UDEM offers an infinite number of academic, cultural and spiritual activities in which we as students can participate.
There is a student group for every talent and interest. I like to help people reach their full potential, and that is why I applied to be part of the Mechatronics Engineering Alumni Society (IMT) and IRSI/ITR, where I will be serving as treasurer next semester.
During the time I have been at UDEM, I have been involved in different student groups as president of SAITR-IMT and vice president of IEEE RAS, besides being able to make what so far I think is my greatest achievement within the UDEM which is the Robotics Club which will take shape gradually but by leaps and bounds.
In my university life at UDEM I have been able to live multiple experiences that have helped me form myself as a leader and grow both personally and professionally.
I think that venturing to try new things such as student groups, volunteering, contests, forums and university events, help a lot to open our way of seeing the world and teach us new skills.

About this crucial decision, Mauricio commented: "After graduating, I worked for almost 15 years as an IIS and in Management in the Industry, and even though I liked it, I always felt that there was something missing.
