To this end, students are exposed to model situations which they are bound to face in their professional lives, assessing their responsibility, their methodological ability to search for, process, and use information, generate insights, design solutions, and apply the right method accordingly.

By the end of this course, students will learn how to identify competitive advantages of products and services in order to improve them. They will also be introduced to the process of innovation. An aim of this course is for students to apply qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the potential of a technological opportunity or eco-technology idea (product, process, or service), based on non-proprietary technological avenues whose technological development has not been explored, for the management and generation of sustainable innovation.
