DI 3340 Packaging Design

By the end of this course, students will be able to apply knowledge and skills in the creative studio in order to design new image and structure ideas and packaging proposals. The course aims to train students in the design and production of containers and packaging for use in their designs or in selected products.

DI 3320 Materials Strength and Simulation

The aim of this course is enable students to identify and interpret the characteristics of the product and the environment surrounding it by using specialized software. Furthermore, students will be able to analyze the internal and external forces of a product for strength calculation purposes. Finally, students will be capable of studying and modeling a product based on its operational conditions.

DI 3130 Industrial Design Accentuation Course

This course aims to enable students to study and interpret an environment, identify design opportunities and propose design solutions through a course of reasoning based on research. Students will also be able to set up highly complex design products and prepare them for production. Finally, students will be capable of developing their own design methodology to manage a design project professionally, covering all of its development stages.

DI 3110 Introduction to Means of Transport

By the end of this course, students will be able to understand and apply different illustration techniques in the visualization of designs. Additionally, students will be capable of developing research and communication systems for the presentation of ideas to clients. The main aim of the course is to develop a vehicle which enhances the emotions that humans experience toward a car or other types of vehicles. In order to achieve the above, students will have to do psychological and anthropological research to study our behavior and reactions toward vehicles, motion, and technology.
