CI 2220 Advanced Film Directing

At the end of this course, students will be able to execute an advanced mise-en-scene through the work done with actors, camerawork, and the supervision of the directing plan to generate dramatic sequences that can be brought together to form a cohesive film narrative.

CI 2195 Audiovisual Production Management

Students will learn and apply the theoretical and practical aspects of organizing a film production, including script breakdown, budgeting, and spending, to be able to manage the shooting of a film production in a professional manner.

CI 2190 Sound Recording and Post-production

Students will learn and apply on-location sound recording, dialog replacement, and foley techniques, as well as pre-mixing for stereo and surround sound systems through theoretical analysis and practical exercises to be able to perform adequately in a professional audiovisual production.

Students will understand and apply exposure, lighthing, and photography techniques for the latest technologies of digital cinema capture. They will also become acquainted with the responsibilities and opportunities that cinematographers have for professional development in a digital cinema crew.
