HU 1000 Mexican Studies

This course aims to stimulate and foster students' interest in Mexico through knowledge and analysis of its contemporary social, cultural, economic, and political reality in order to promote the possibility of the student spositively influencing the country.

PS 1005 General Psychology

The aim of this course is to understand psychology as a discipline that explains human behavior and its mental process from a scientific perspective. It includes a panoramic view of theoretical approaches, methods of study and contemporary perspectives. It analyzes its application in everyday life.

PS 1200 Social Psychology

The aim of this course is to study individual behavior in institutions and social structures and the way in which it impacts on the process to understand social behavior, with the objective of proposing strategies to solve the different problems raised by social psychology.

FM 1235 Astronomy

The aim of this course is for students to: (1) Build a conceptual structure of the Universe by relating its various components with the magnitudes involved in the space and time in which they occur, explaining the phenomena that originated them. (2) Conceptually study the physical phenomena that help us to understand Nature. (3) Understand the motion of objects in the sky as seen from the surface of the earth. (4) Compare the different characteristics of the planets and other objects in ours solar system. (5) Study the evolution of stars and the structure and history of the Universe.
