The course prepares students to obtain a minimum of 550 points in the Institutional TOEFL examination. Students will be acquainted with the structure of the test, the types of questions, and the strategies to determine the correct answers. They will take mock tests under conditions similar to those of the test. For languages other than English, preparation will be carried out in accordance with the corresponding test.

This course is intended for students with no prior knowledge of the German language. Students will learn to express themselves using the simple verb tenses and basic vocabulary in order to cope with daily life situations.

Students will learn basic vocabulary and simple verbal tenses and they will be able to name and describe objects in common situations such as the house, classroom, supermarkets, and restaurants. They will be able to compare the past with the present.
