Universidad de Monterrey appears in the 2020 Latin America University Rankings of THE, Times Higher Education, which measures the performance of universities worldwide. It is positioned in the Top Ten of Mexican Universities and in rank 101-125 of Latin America

2019

Thanks to its high quality, UDEM’s MBA has been recognized by AMBA, the Association of MBAs.

2019

Prepa UDEM is the only private high school in Mexico to hold the three accreditations at the high school level: Padrón de Calidad del Sistema Nacional de Educación Media Superior (Quality Register of the National System of High School Education), the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme.

2018

The Business School positioned itself in second place in Mexico and first place in the 4 Palms of Excellence category in the EdUniversal ranking, based in France. 

Thanks to the academic excellence it has demonstrated to meet international standards, the Business School was accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), making UDEM the fourth Mexican institution to receive this certification and the only university in Monterrey with accreditation at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 

2017

UDEM has positioned itself as one of the best 50 universities under 50 years old, according to the QS Top 50 Under 50 international ranking. 

2017

Thanks to our sustainability strategy, UDEM is now a silver-level institution according to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).

2016

At the international level, UDEM receives 4 stars in the QS Stars rating system, (Rating QS Stars), earning a top rating of 5 stars in the Teaching, Employability, Social Responsibility, and Internationalization categories.

 

UDEM became the first higher-education institution outside the United States and Canada to earn bronze-level recognition from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).

2014

UDEM is designated as the first Changemaker Campus in all northern Mexico by international organization Ashoka, a leader in social enterprising and social innovation. Through its Ashoka U program, it has identified 25 major universities worldwide which have a high social impact on their communities.

2013

The Monterrey city council grants UDEM the Monterrey Medal for Ecological Merit.

2012

The Nuevo León state government, through its Secretariat of Sustainable Development, grants UDEM an award for its contribution to the mitigation of CO2 emissions, as part of the 2010-2015 Nuevo León Action Program for Climate Change.

 

The National Student Sport Commission of Private Institutions (CONADEIP) recognizes UDEM as champion in Youth categories A and C for the 2012-2013 cycle.

2011

The association Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, NASPA, grants UDEM the Best Practice Award in the category Philanthropy for its program “UDEM helps: developing a citizen participation program.”

 

The Nuevo León state government, through its Secretariat of Sustainable Development, grants UDEM an award for its contribution to the mitigation of CO2 emissions, as part of the 2010-2015 Nuevo León Action Program for Climate Change.

The Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, NASPA, grants UDEM the International Practice Award for its project "Wharton Leadership Ventures at UDEM: building multicultural leadership thru adventure".

 

The Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, NASPA, grants UDEM the International Best Practice Award for its program "Global Leadership Program at Panama".

The National Chamber of the Construction Industry and Cementos Mexicanos give UDEM an award in the category “Institutional Design and Construction” for its Main Administrative Building (Rectoría).

2004

The Nuevo León Association of Architects (Colegio de Arquitectos de Nuevo León, A. C.) grants UDEM an award in the category “Institutional Architectural Design” for its Main Administrative Building (Rectoría).

1999

The National Chamber of the Construction Industry and Cementos Mexicanos give UDEM an award in the category “Best Concrete Work” for its Community Center building.

 

The Nuevo León Association of Architects (Colegio de Arquitectos de Nuevo León A. C.), grants UDEM an award in the category "Crystal Calli" of Education, for its Community Center.
