DG 4435 Graphic Design Portafolio

Upon completion of this course, students will succeed in integrating the material developed throughout their university course of study into a digital or printed portfolio in order to strongly promote their talent showing acquired knowledge and experience, graphic, typographic or photographic skills, as well as the ability of organization, creativity and workmanship that the students possess.

DG 4425 Typeface Design

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to meet the necessary technical and formal guidelines involved in the design of typographic alphabets in order to correctly structure their own typographic alphabet and produce it digitally through the use of specialized software.

DG 4405 Introduction to Type Design

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to analyze the forms of classical and modern calligraphic fonts for the construction of their own typographic alphabet. They will learn about the management of software for the design and production of digital typefaces and carry out the production process that begins with the analog sketch and ends with the tracing of digital vectors.
