DG 3330 From Modernism to the Present

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to explain the milestones in the history of design and art, from Modernism to the present day in order to consider the impact of design on society from the context of their professional field and use it optimally. This will be achieved through the discussion and analysis of readings and research works, coupled with field practices where acquired theoretical knowledge is applied.

DG 3325 Beginning Web Design

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to use different interface design tools and techniques, usability and interactivity, as well as the methodologies necessary for the design and development of effective Web pages using multimedia software and free-access applications for the development of Web pages.

DG 3320 3D Information System Graphic Design Studio

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to graphically generate information design contents related to 3-D objects and spaces such as signage systems like Wayfinding, interactive kiosks, installations, museums and pavilions. This will be achieved through a course that links theory with the implementation of acquired knowledge after analyzing it and discussing it as a group.

DG 3305 Typography System

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply the basic concepts of the use of typography in relation to texts through the creation and application of typographic systems, as well as the proper use in the drafting and configuration of such systems in order to link knowledge with the implementation of the texts in the publishing field.

SC 3005 Interactive Application Project

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to apply a formal methodology for the production of digital content including each of its stages: conceptualization , story , script , design , modeling, texturing, lighting , integration , animation , sound, "rendering", and post-production . They will understand and properly apply the concepts and theories of creative visualization, graphic design elements, fundamentals of radio design, and management of the production team for digital content.

DG 3030 Text and Image

At the end of the course the student will be able to structure information systems complex and innovative on the basis of the composition of text and images and concepts of time and sequence, operation verbal and visual in order to obtain graphics treatments with great impact in support of the publishing area.
