This course aims to analyze the main factors that alter behavior and personality at the different stages of human life, their prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation as well as the impact that the disorders have on the family and/or community.

EM 3060 Psychiatric and Public Health Nursing Practicum

The aim of this course is for students to apply their theoretical knowledge of psychiatry to provide care to patients and families in crisis. The course seeks to encourage students to build a position oriented to the preventive and comprehensive care of the patient's problems, considering all the factors of the health-disease process, at both patient and public-health level.

EM 3045 Psychiatric Nursing

The aim of this course is for students to review the principles, foundations, and theories of personality, as well as the different kinds of crises that enable them to develop nursing diagnoses, using the nursing care process underpinned by scientific knowledge, for the care of patients with mental disorders.
