FM 1006 Selected Studies in Sciece

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to integrate the application of new technologies developed from the implementation of cutting-edge theories to the industrial environment of their own communities or the venue of their internships. This is in order to contribute to the bringing up to date and development of their professional environment.

FM 1005 Computer Mathematics

The aim of this course is for students to understand basic concepts pertaining to the theory of problem solving: classical algebra, sets, relations and functions, Boolean algebra and Boolean expressions, number systems and numeric bases, fundamental theory of arithmetic, congruence, equations and systems of equations. Students should be able to apply these concepts to the solution of problems and in other computer science courses.

FM 1001 Physics I

The aim of this course is for students to understand the basic concepts of classical mechanics in order to analyze, explain, and solve problems related to bodies that move in one, two or three dimensions (kinematic or dynamic state).

FM 0105 Precalculus

The aim of this course is for students to understand the main concepts of arithmetic and algebra that will allow them to develop the basic abilities needed to successfully undertake subsequent higher-level mathematics courses.
