This course aims to train students for advanced oral surgical therapy. They will apply acquired knowledge and develop skills and abilities oriented to the handling of endodontic - periodontal problems.
The aim of this course is for students to review advanced knowledge of endodontic - periodontal treatments, as well as the techniques, procedures, and materials used in them and develop the necessary psychomotor skills for their accomplishment.
The aim of this course is for students to: (1) Gain deeper knowledge of the morpho-functional components of the endodontic - periodontal system and their relations with the rest of the body. (2) Study the epidemiology of endodontic and periodontic diseases.
The aim of this course is for students to: (1) Assume the responsibility of educating patients as regards the prevention of alterations of the dental pulp. (2) Apply diagnostic tests and therapeutic schemes such as pulpotomy and pulpectomy to permanet teeth.
The aim of this course is for students to identify oral health problems by exercising the skills necessary for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, which will enable them to carry out the procedures necessary to restore the oral health of children in a comprehensive manner and to refer patients outside the scope of their area of competence to specialists.
The aim of this course is for students to identify the theoretical and measurement foundations of assessment methods in various contexts. These foundations are part of different psychological models and promote competence in the process of selecting, applying and reviewing the instruments needed for the interpretation of collected data.
