Thanks to UDEM and its professors, I generated a great interest in international law, as well as in business law.

I am Larissa Leal Páez, a graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Law (2017-2021). During my time at the University of Monterrey, I had the opportunity to participate in various academic and extracurricular activities that enriched my educational and professional formation. From projects and workshops to deepen my knowledge in various areas of law, to contributing to research projects led by professors of the University. I also had the satisfaction of representing the university as a member of the UDEM Student Federation and the LDE Alumni Society.

During my studies, I attended the session of the intergovernmental working group on transnational corporations and human rights at the United Nations headquarters in Switzerland. Subsequently, I was admitted to the 2023 winter courses at the Académie de droit international de La Haye.

During my stay at UDEM, I was involved in leadership and volunteer activities. I participated in the development and execution of a regularization program for an entity that seeks to strengthen the sense of belonging of indigenous communities, as part of the Leaders Plus honors program. I also provided legal and regulatory advice through my participation in TECHO and AIESEC. These leadership and volunteer experiences allowed me to apply my legal skills in social contexts and contribute to the welfare of different groups.
