Objective
To prepare specialist physicians in Neonatology with an academic foundation that includes specialized knowledge of perinatal diseases, congenital malformations, and injuries present in the newborn. They should have the ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat low-risk and critically ill neonatal patients, skillfully utilizing cutting-edge technology to develop a professional practice with the highest standards of patient care and safety. They will coordinate effectively with a multidisciplinary health team. Additionally, the specialist in Neonatology will operate within a framework of ethics, humanism, and service orientation, respecting the environment. They will use scientific research methodology as a routine tool in their daily practice and be committed to continuous updates in their discipline.
