With our undergraduate degree program in civil engineering (ICA), we offer you a very thorough curriculum which, in addition to the necessary theoretical knowledge, provides you with the opportunity to acquire professional experience before graduating, through internships and the Final Evaluation Program.
Furthermore, you will receive support and advice from highly prestigious faculty members with extensive careers in the field of civil engineering.
Objective
The main objective of the Civil and Environmental Engineering career is to train you as a professional who takes advantage of available resources to project, build and operate infrastructure for the benefit of society, the environment and economic development.
Student Learning Outcomes
- An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
- An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and we fare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
- An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
- An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.
- An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.
- An ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.
- An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with Recognition of Official Validity (RVOE) granted by the Secretariat of Public Education, dated March 17, 2021, in accordance with agreement 20210446. Effective as from January 18 2021.
