The Clinical Simulation Laboratory of the Universidad de Monterrey has been officially established as an American Heart Association (AHA) International Training Center. Thus, UDEM has obtained authorization to teach the courses in the Emergency Cardiovascular Care program, as it is now part of the AHA Training Center Network.

The new Training Center has its headquarters in the Clinical Simulation Laboratory of UDEM’s Medical School, which features the necessary infrastructure to offer “Heart Saver” First Aid courses, and other courses aimed at specialist physicians, students from different levels, and the general community.

Through the AHA’s training program, all of UDEM’s Medical School students will have been certified in basic and advanced CPR for pediatric and adult patients by the time they start their undergraduate internship.
