In 2007, the Epsilon Alpha chapter of the Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity was founded at the Universidad de Monterrey. Its vision is to position the fraternity among the main entities committed to the training and development of doctors who promote health, education and community service.
The events that they organize during the course of the year are the following:
World Cup against cancer
Aaron Brown Distinguished Lectureship
Stand for the Kids
It should be mentioned that Epsilon Alpha is the only chapter in Mexico and Latin America belonging to the Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity - founded in October 1904 by Aaron Brown and eight of his friends at Cornell University Medical College.
