Objective
To train professionals who evaluate the methods and techniques for obtaining, processing, and interpreting specimens collected for biochemical, microbiological, histochemical, molecular biology, genetic, and immunological studies; thereby contributing to the diagnosis of diseases affecting patients. Additionally, to promote respectful interaction with colleagues and the healthcare team within a framework of humanism and professional ethics; adhering to the regulations that underpin their daily activities in the clinical laboratory and blood bank; to provide the foundations and necessary tools to be leaders in their area, reflecting social responsibility and environmental awareness in their daily actions; using the scientific method as a regular instrument for their professional development and maintaining continuous education

Learn to organize and coordinate the development and function of a modern clinical laboratory and blood bank through the application of basic administration and human capital management.

Know the theoretical foundation of the procedures and analytical methods for the different specimens for biochemical, microbiological, molecular biology, histochemical, genetic, and immunological studies.

Apply regulations in the management of the laboratory and blood bank and the standards related to patient safety.
