Objective
Prepare specialist physicians in Emergency Medicine with an academic training that includes specialized knowledge of various subspecialties; with the ability to resolve life-threatening conditions that present acutely in the emergency room, in both adult and pediatric patients who require immediate comprehensive care, skillfully and proficiently using cutting-edge technology that allows them to develop professional practice with the highest standards of patient care and safety, coordinating with the multidisciplinary health team.
Furthermore, the specialist in Emergency Medicine will perform within a framework of ethics, humanism, and service vocation, respecting the environment; using the scientific research method as a habitual tool in their daily practice, committed to continuous updating in their discipline.
