Have knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures from clinical history to invasive and non-invasive diagnostic-therapeutic studies, including their indications, utility, risks, and complications.

Perform actions for prevention, self-care, diagnosis, comprehensive medical treatment including cardiovascular rehabilitation, using current technological resources available for the comprehensive care of acute and chronic prevalent diseases.

Apply current national and international regulations related to the discipline and the provision of quality medical care, with emphasis on patient safety.

Develop proficiency in procedures related to disciplines within Internal Medicine, including basic procedures from various specialties such as cardiology, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, nephrology, among others.
