At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to diagnose and treat common eye diseases and identify those that require support from an ophthalmologist in order to achieve their timely referral if necessary, performing effectively in the field of clinical medicine. This will be achieved through the linking of theory and practice in the outpatient consultation and operating room areas.

This will be achieved through lectures , seminars, case studies and outpatient and inpatient consultation practices.
