Objective
To prepare specialist physicians in Radiology and Imaging with an academic training that includes specialized knowledge, techniques, and diagnostic imaging procedures, including conventional radiology, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine; with the ability to correlate an imaging study with the patient's clinical manifestations, skillfully using cutting-edge technology to establish diagnoses that support therapeutic management, developing a professional practice with the highest standards of patient care and safety; coordinating with the multidisciplinary health team.
Additionally, the specialist physician in Radiology and Imaging will operate within a framework of ethics, humanism, and a vocation for service, respecting the environment; using the scientific research method as a habitual tool in their daily practice and committed to the continuous updating of their discipline.
