Bromatology Laboratory
As a student of the undergraduate degree programs in Nutrition and Biomedical Engineering, you will be able to study the techniques used in all food laboratories. With these techniques, you will learn to carry out a thorough assessment of the nutritional value of a food product by determining its chemical composition (humidity, ashes, fats, fiber, carbohydrates, and proteins), the energy contribution of that food product and its organoleptic qualities. The results obtained contribute to the preparation of nutritional labels of food products.
